Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Russo family! I was the arborist under Bob at the NYBG . He was a great plantsman and gardener. We worked together for years to help beautify the grounds at the garden located in the middle of the bronx. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to work with Bob. He will be missed! Sincerely, Mike Orsino
Condolence: My heart goes out for your loss with Bob's passing. Bob was my teacher, mentor, encourager, and cheerleader as I worked in horticulture and was someone who made work rewarding no matter the task. I can only imagine the impact of having him for a husband, dad,or grandpa. Praying for you all.
Condolence: Dearest Liz, Robert, Joseph, Michael and all your "boys" and loved ones....I am so deeply saddened and my heart goes out to all of you. He was a special man and you are all blessed with an amazing family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm certain his golden smile is shining down on all of you with all of his love. I'm sending a cheesecake straight to Heaven. Much love, Mobee

Condolence: Dear Joe:
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of your Beloved Father. Our thoughts are with you, your sons, your Mom and your Brothers during this difficult time. May he rest in God’s Eternal Peace.
Condolence: Dearest Michael, Mom, Rob, Joe, Joanne, and family... I wish I had the words to express my great sorrow and sadness. I loved Dad so dearly, and my favorite memories of him was watching his funny reactions when Mom told stories of the past. I loved when he smiled and jokingly waved off her version of a story while shaking his head to us. He was an unbelievably remarkable man, and I say with great emotion that I feel honored to have witnessed his beautiful life these past few years. I saw from moment one how much you all loved and adored him (and each other) in such a big, magical way, and it is testament to the rest of us his extraordinary soul and the kind of man he was to have created the union of all of you.
Each of you and Dad will be in my thoughts and prayers for a very, very long time. I am here, always, if you need me. God bless you, and I love you all.
